Ok, so most of you have probably noticed by now that many of my recipe creations are made completely out my lack of planning for meals. Usually I decide on something I want for dinner and then I somehow put things together to create what I want. Yesterday we decided to make my famous Baked Spaghetti
, but I didn’t have anything to use for garlic bread. I don’t know about you, but I cannot eat my spaghetti without bread. . it just doesn’t taste right.
So my predicament. . no garlic bread. . my answer. . “Gourmet” Cheesy Pesto Garlic Bread made using English muffins (because that’s something I usually always have on hand).
This recipe is way super easy to make and your family and friends will think you are super creative. Plus, they taste AMAZING. In fact I made a few again just to eat by themselves today!
What do you need?
– English Muffins
– Pesto Sauce
– Mozzarella Cheese Shred
How easy is it?
Start by breaking the English muffins open, inside facing up.
Spread a spoonfull of pesto on each slice.
Cover each muffin with a handful of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Serve along side your favorite pasta.
Making these? Try my famous baked spaghetti to go along with ’em! Be sure to let me know what you think!
